Flint Studios Sponsors Digital DNA Startup Category

Belfast-based web-solutions provider, Flint Studios, has announced its sponsorship of the Startup category at the 2019 Digital DNA Awards for the second consecutive year.

The awards, which will take place on the 28th March at St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast, celebrate the diverse range of talent in Northern Ireland across the digital scene, from eCommerce to fintech, media and digital.

The ‘Startup of the Year Award’ recognises startups operating in the digital and tech arena, from online retail to web or app development – Software as a service (SaaS) to Artificial Intelligence.

Jeremy Biggerstaff, Managing Director at Flint Studios, said:

“We are proud to sponsor the Startup category at the 2019 Digital DNA Awards. Having achieved success in the Startup arena, at Flint Studios we take special interest in this sector.

“At Flint Studios, we are always keen to provide support and advice to companies who are still developing their business and who are trying to find their feet within the industry.

“Last year, we offered mentoring support to the winner of the Digital DNA Startup category and hosted a roundtable discussion which was attended by several of the shortlisted companies and allowed us to pinpoint some of the challenges frequently experienced by startups within Northern Ireland.

“I am looking forward to seeing the host of new digital talent that will be recognised at next year’s event. Nominations are now open, and we encourage businesses of all sizes to get involved for what I am sure will be a great evening.”

Flint Studios, recently listed in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for the third consecutive year, employs over 30 people and provides web development, design, integration, hosting and digital marketing solutions to businesses from a range of sectors.
