Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager
Reporting to: Managing Director and Directors
Location: Belfast (some travel to GB office) 

Purpose & Objectives:
The Manager will be integral to Flint Studios delivering on its stated ambition of achieving double digital growth over the next two years.  They will work closely with the team of directors to ensure continual business improvement, capability planning, highly efficient operational output and driving a learning culture across the business. They will oversee project planning across the business with a focus on delivering results for all of their clients. The person will be responsible for the output and efficiency of their NI and GB operation based in Belfast and also in Warrington.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Fully understand operational inputs and be able to deliver business strategy
  • Top-level ownership of all projects within the business and oversight of operational output against project plans
  • Bring additional rigour to capacity and capability planning through oversight of project plans, deadlines, resource planning and identifying areas for improvements in project planning
  • Responsible for approving project budgets and improving pricing models to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Assessment of output across various teams within the business to prevent inefficiencies and identify areas for ongoing improvements
  • Be able to manage customer expectations and where project expectations deviate from the agreed brief, be responsible for re-focusing the project or re-negotiating terms
  • Challenge project timetables and budgets to prevent over engineering  
  • Conduct regular project reviews and bring a real learning culture to drive continuous improvement
  • Assess and provide guidance on all IT support systems to improve management of client projects
  • Other operational work as required such as assessment of policies and procedures
Person specification:
  • A proven track record in overseeing a high volume of projects running concurrently within a web or digital agency
  • Strongly process driven with excellent prioritisation skills
  • Has implemented process improvements and change management in a similar industry
  • Outstanding communication skills are required to not only manage volume projects and client relationships but also to manage directors’ expectations based on work capacity
  • Highly professional, credible and ambitious to grow in line with our business strategy
