With its website housing key information for current and prospective customers and suppliers, Flint Studios were commissioned to conduct a full website redesign with the intention of increasing engagement, increasing conversions and providing their online audience with a clear and easy website navigation.

Measurable Results


As part of the website redesign, a key consideration was ensuring that Fusion21 customers could easily navigate to their procurement services of choice (including frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems) in a quick and efficient manner. By engaging in information architecture, we subsequently constructed a navigational system that was no more than three levels deep where possible. What's more, by way of simple and effective use of headings and subheadings on the user journey, we delivered an online frameworks index whereby site visitors can be guided to each individual framework easily and without hassle.


Umbraco Development

Umbraco was chosen as the content management system for this project due to its reliability, instinctive user interface, enterprise-level security and content management functionality. Mapping integration was developed in order to include a location searchable database of providers on the website. This used a local government web service to provide the searchability combined with provider information stored within Umbraco CMS content.


Paid Advertising

Flint Studios delivered a successful PPC campaign to drive unique and quality visitors to the new Fusion21 website. The campaign comprised both Search Advertising and Display Advertising. Search ads appeared next to the Google search results listings when people search for Fusion21 online. For the display ads, we created customised layouts -- with images -- that allowed us to deliver highly targeted campaigns based on the interests and demographics of Fusion21 members.


Email Sequencing

Once a user has subscribed to Fusion21's digital newsletter using the interactive button on the website, they are met with a series of onboarding emails created to educate them on the services that Fusion21 provides. Flint Studios scheduled these emails to automatically send at a predetermined time and frequency, helping Fusion21 to generate enquiries during the times that their user base is likely to be engaged. Furthermore, we were able to personalise the email content based on the type of enquiry the user had, thus increasing the likelihood of conversions.
