Brief

Established 40 years ago, Mantra Learning is a leading training provider which enables people to transform their business by providing learning and skills programmes in the logistics, automotive and business sectors. The business complements its main objectives by promoting career opportunities in various sectors.

Mantra Learning chose Flint Studios to develop a new website that reflected the ongoing success of the business but it was incredibly important that the seamless integration of the Wildflower application for online course booking was maintained.

Umbraco 7 CMS

Mantra Learning was originally developed using Umbraco 6, an outdated version that is no longer supported by Umbraco nor is it responsive to tablet and mobile devices. Umbraco 7 is much faster than previous versions of Umbraco with improved user experience when creating, browsing and editing websites. Mantra Learning also benefits from a new-and-improved user-friendly interface with completely redesigned search navigation. This enables Mantra Learning to manage their website content and media effectively so that they can keep content fresh and engaging. Umbraco 7 also resolved previous issues that Mantra Learning was experiencing with uploading images, resizing images and content editing time-consuming.

Content Management

Umbraco was chosen as the content management system for this project due to its reliability, instinctive user interface, enterprise-level security and content management functionality. Mapping integration was developed in order to include a location searchable database of providers on the website. This used a local government web service to provide the searchability combined with provider information stored within Umbraco CMS content.

Primary and Secondary Top-Level Navigation

We created a primary and secondary top-level navigation tool to allow online users to be guided to the most important areas of Mantra Learning’s site. This design creates an easy and straightforward journey path for users which they can use with ease.

Bespoke Design

Flint Studios created a modern and highly engaging bespoke website for Mantra Learning. Through the use of large imagery, clear readable fonts and a clean-cut colour palette and dominate CTA’s throughout the user’s journey, Mantra Learning’s information is delivered clearly to the user in an easy to understand format.
